Broadway in the Park - Peter Pan

Another warm summer evening, another wonderful outdoor event.  This time Queen Carol L invited us to Peppertree Park in Tustin for a professional Broadway-type production of everyone's favorite childhood classic . . .

The park itself is relatively small, and to put on a play of this quality is quite a feat.  They build a huge stage - they said this one was much bigger than what they've had in the past, and they only had one week to get it all set up and ready.  Very impressive.

We arrived early to get the best seats possible.

Here we are waiting for the gates to open -

Once inside, we scored excellent seats and quickly
scarfed down our sack-dinners -

The play was great, the actors were fabulous, the singing voices were awesome, the whole production was incredible and lots of fun.  And it was just cool enough to put on a light jacket - what a nice change from the 100 degree weather we've been experiencing.  Thank you Queen Carol L for another really fun evening - let's do this again next year!  For sure!
