We planned several fun outdoor events for the first few months of the year. But since the weather in February is unpredictable, we decided to have one more Zoom Game Day.
Princess Seema was in charge, and she came up with silly games to play and funny things to do. She had us running around our houses finding "scavenger hunt" type items. As a teacher, she is very creative and she challenged us with some of the games she plays with her students. And for most of them, we didn't do so well! Naming Disney songs . . . should have been easy, but NO! We often knew the movie, but not the correct name of the song. Drawing a snowman - with step-by-step directions from a kid's art instructor. Basically . . . we failed! Recognizable, but not exactly museum quality. But we sure had a lot of laughs over our attempts. And we ended the day with Mad-Libs. When you're randomly picking words and numbers without knowing anything about the story-line, the results can be pretty hilarious! And they were!
The ladies are such good sports though, and we all gave it our best. And we had a great time doing it. Thanks, Princess Seema, for such a fun day.
