We had so much fun today! We started with lunch at The Habit - yummy burgers and fries!

After our tummy's were full and we'd had a bunch of laughs, we headed over to Chaparral 300 to see how big of fools we could make of ourselves . . . . We got our shoes, found the perfect balls, and divided ourselves into two teams: Chris, Debbie & Joan vs Joy & Tina - and Seema completed the group by being the cheering section.
Let the fun begin . . . Actually, we all did pretty good, and definitely had a lot of laughs and earned some high fives along the way . . .

We rolled two games each . . . and while none of us will be called up to the Pro circuit anytime soon, we didn't do too shabby . . .

Debbie really showed her bowling skills and got the best score of the day! Congrats!!!!!
Tina opted out of a third game, so the rest of us formed 2 teams of two for one game of Scotch Doubles . . . . If you're not familiar, one bowler throws the first ball, and the second bowler has to pick up any pins that are left standing. If the first bowler rolls a strike, then the other bowler becomes the first bowler for the next frame. And you keep trading back and forth like that for the whole game. Really fun! It was team Chris-Debbie vs team Joy-Joan and we were pretty evenly matched with team Joy-Joan barely squeaking out the win - 102 to 99. Good game to both teams!
