We gathered together at Carol N's home for our Outreach Project Day - the plan was to finish cutting and tying the fleece blankets so we can donate them to Boy's Republic, and to fill our shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. There were only a few blankets left to finish, and so we started the day by getting those cut and tied . . .

When the blankets were finished, we moved to the dining room and spread out all our treasures for the shoe boxes. We had so much cool stuff . . . pencils, pens, games, notebooks, sewing kits, tools, socks, toothbrushes & toothpaste, soap and wash clothes, combs and brushes, candy (of course) and lots of other things too. Will it all fit in the box? Here we are as we stack up the goodies and fill the boxes . . .
With the boxes filled, it's time for lunch . . . . Look at all the happy smiles!
