What a fun and rewarding day! We got an early start so we could have as much time as possible in the morning to cut & tie fleece blankets for Boy's Republic. Our goal was to donate a total of nine blankets, and our hope was to get half of them done today. We must have all eaten our Wheaties for breakfast because with our combined helping hands, we finished ALL nine of our blankets in under three hours. Are we overachievers or what? Great job ladies! We grabbed our bag lunches, gathered around the dining room table, and filled our tummies. After all that work, we were definitely ready for a break and refreshments. Next we changed out of our work clothes and into our party clothes, and headed off to . . .

This is such a cute little old theatre. Nothing fancy, just a friendly place that always puts on a great show. Today's performance was . . .

When we arrived, the front of the theatre was decked out in a sea of red and purple. We were joined by at least four other Red Hat groups from all around our area. What fun to chat and compare notes with them before the show began.

The show was so cute and SO FUNNY. By the time it was over, we all had achy cheeks from smiling and laughing continuously for 90 straight minutes. No photography was allowed during the performance, but afterwards, the cast was ready and willing to chat, hug and take photos with us. They were all so friendly and gracious.

Such a fun day. And . . . a bonus. We gained a NEW MEMBER! Heather came out to play with us for the very first time and decided she wants to come again. And again. We are so excited to have another Pink Hatter in our group.
